Q:    Why should I look at adding another thing to do by beginning social media for my business?

A:     Many businesses already have outstanding marketing materials created and with the millions of people turning to the internet over other marketing platforms, it is definitely advantageous to begin marketing your business on some level with social media. Create a pace that works for you and get the help you need to be successful. This is why we are here, to provide information for you to succeed in your social media marketing efforts!

Q:    How do I tell people about my social sites once I have them created?

A:     There are literally thousands of ways to tell others about your social sites. Pick a few and do those well, until you are ready to do more. Start with where people see you now and add information to your social sites. For example, if you have a website that gets visitors, and links to your social sites there. They can join your Facebook page right from your website! Also, newsletters, store front, etc.  Incorporate links to your social media sites from marketing you are already doing.

Q:    How do I add a link in a post?

A:     A great way to get your social networking friends to your business website is to post a link so they can simply click it and be directed to your website. To do this, go to the page on your website you would like to send them to and then click on the URL link at the top of the page (generally looks something like “www.yourwebsite.com/services”), highlight (left mouse click or click and drag mouse over it) and copy. Then go to social site, such as Facebook, and write a note about the link then paste. You have now shared a link on your social media page.
